DESCRIPTION
Some people say that Las Vegas is a city of the temporary. A visitors’ Mecca, made up of outrageous sights and short lived delights. Is anyone really from here? Well we are… BORN AND RAISED!
I was brought up around the foundations of Vegas: the casino business. My grandfather, Andrew Zorne, was the sole president to a handful of landmark hotel casinos on the strip, including the Mint, Hacienda, and Park Place. His experiences showed me how Vegas really worked, from precise management to customer service.
Las Vegas was the place where everyone knew your name and what you enjoyed. The relationships you developed meant you never had to worry about anything. It wasn’t about the “Big Players”, it was about you. You felt like you were the only person in the place. That kind of service is what made Vegas successful, and it’s what we’re continuing to do today.
My other grandfather, Lou Godino, owned and operated the Town Lounge in Rockford, Illinois. It was the local hangout that hosted big name bands. His attitude and dedication kept the regulars coming back again and again.
Born And Raised was created to honor these ideals. You might say it was my heritage to open a place like this, where everyone is treated as if they matter. It’s not about the bottom line. It’s about relating to the customer and giving them what they deserve.
